Participant Information

Student poster presenters will spend a one-hour-long session standing next to their poster (4:00 pm - 5:00 pm). They will speak about their research project to faculty and students and entertain questions from those who pass by. Van Wagenen Library will provide tables, display easels and materials needed to mount their posters (tape, push pins, etc.).

Printing your poster

  • Posters should be a maximum of 36"x48"
  • The library has provided funding to have posters printed at the campus print shop.
  • Please send your poster for printing as early as possible.

Day of the Conference

  • All posters presentations will be located in Upper Champlin.
  • Arrive during the designated time (Noon-1:00pm April 12th) to set up your poster.
  • When you arrive, event staff will direct you to your specific table location and give you your nametag.
  • If you decide to supplement your poster with an electronic display, you must bring your own fully charged laptop/tablet as the facility cannot garauntee power in the poster display area.
  • Present yourself well: dress professionally, wear your nametag, turn off cell phone or personal computer (or turn off volume).
  • Be prepared to learn: this is an opportunity to confidently share your hard work and humbly look forward to respectful questions and constructive feedback.
  • Good news: being nervous does not hurt your credibility or authority. Have fun and enjoy!
