Borrowing Policies
Three study rooms are available for a three-hour loan.
The Honors Room within the library is not available for use to the Cobleskill community. This room is reserved for students enrolled in the honors program.
Study rooms may be renewed by patrons, provided there is not a waitlist.
During times of high volume usage (mid-terms, extended hours periods, and finals week), study rooms may not be renewed so that the Van Wagenen Library can accommodate the needs of the Cobleskill community.
We kindly ask patrons who loan out our study rooms to be courtesy and not leave the library with our study room keys. This prevents other Cobleskill students and community users from utilizing this space for quiet study purposes. Be kind and respectful to your peers!
Loan period:
- 3 hrs, patron renewal, is dependent reservations and waitlist.
STUDENTS WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR CONDUCT IN THE STUDY ROOMS. REMEMBER THE 2nd FLOOR SPACE IS FOR QUIET STUDY! STUDENTS WHO BEHAVE INAPPROPRIATELY, LITTER/TRASH STUDY ROOMS, VAPE, OR USE THE SPACE FOR ILLICIT PURPOSES. WILL NOT ONLY BE ASKED TO LEAVE, BUT MAY HAVE THEIR LOANING PRIVILEGES TEMPORARILY REVOKED! PLEASE BE MINDFUL AND RESPECTFUL OF THIS POLICY.
Items Available for Loan
- Dry eraser markers are available for a three-hour loan.
- We also have dry erase boards on our 2nd floor! Feel free to check out our markers and pull up a dry erase board to one of our 2nd floor quiet spaces for your studying purposes!
Notes
Study rooms may be reserved in advance if needed on a particular day and/or time. Stop by the circulation desk and make a reservation with one of our student library staff!
