Film Analysis Assignment
The Film Analysis Assignment for HUMS 210 requires you to write a 5-6 page film analysis of any film on the syllabus other than the one you wrote your Film Review on. Additional details about the assignment can be found in the assignment instructions posted on Moodle. The required text for the course, Writing about Movies by Gocsik, Monahan, and Barsam, also provides useful guidance on how to complete this assignment.
The essay also requires you to use at least three secondary sources, which must include at least one scholarly, peer-reviewed article or scholarly book. The other sources may include film reviews written by professional critics and published in reputable sources such as major national newspapers or magazines.
