Google Gemini will answer natural-language questions by synthesizing text found in Google search results. Doesn't necessarily draw on Google Scholar or other scholarly sources and it doesn't connect you back to the original source for the information you received.

  • Answers are decent but not fool-proof

Teaching Topic Development with LLMs

Can have these tools ask you questions about your research topics or generate an outline for a paper on a particular topic. 

Students can experiment with language to train the tool on what they're looking for particularly. Interacting back and forth to get an ideal answer.
