Perplexity can be used to learn more about a topic and discover web-based sources. You can ask questions and get chat-based responses synthesizing sources from across the web. Perplexity will include in-text citations linking to the source pages. The sources will be linked at the bottom of a page as well. The citations are not necessarily coming from scholarly sources, so students will still need to evaluate the original sources, and check the written response for hallucinations.
