Open Educational Resources (OER)

Consider using OER in your course.

SUNY Cobleskill continues to offer incentives to encourage the use of Open Educational Resources on our campus. “Open Educational Resources (OER)” are teaching, learning, and research resources that reside in the public domain or have been released under an intellectual property license that permits repurposing by others.” Our faculty can get involved in this project and are eligible for funding to convert courses to OER format. We would prefer courses that are high-enrollment, have a high textbook price or are part of the General Education program but all courses applying OER will be considered.

Please contact Faye Starman for more information or assistance in getting started with OER.
