This library guide was created for students enrolled in "HIST 399: Special Topics in History: Ancient Egypt," taught by Prof. Amy Wilson. The final research paper for the course should fully address the topic and incorporate information from a range of sources. The tabs above provide links to information designed to help students find, access, and cite sources in their research project and for the final paper.
The research paper should use Times New Roman 12 point font and be double spaced with standard margins. It should include a bibliography and be (at least) 7 pages when complete. The bibliography and all citations should follow the Chicago Manual of Style. Images should be captioned and properly cited.
Please use the Purdue OWL and other tools on the Citations tab to double-check formatting for your bibliography and in-text citations. Any issues/errors must be fixed before the final paper is submitted.
